Something I am seeing more and more at weddings is bride’s (and grooms) choosing to
customise their weddings and create something that is a bit out-of -the-ordinary and more personalised.
It is really exciting as a photographer to see these visions come to life and it brings a greater opportunity to work
alongside wedding stylists and planners to collaborate on something that is really special and beautiful.
The hottest trends for 2015 are colour metallics, geometries and flowers in abundance.
.
Elegant Baroque
Its all about the glamour, gold being the colour of choice. Keep it elegant by combining with black and white, add vibrant colours such as magenta or turquoise. I love this table set up by Harriet at the Sorrento Golf Club. A very classy and unique look for a traditional sit-down wedding lunch.

Lighten Up
The simplest of rooms can look amazing with the right lighting. A romantic ambience can be achieved with candle lit tables or go for the wow factor with giant light-up letter like we had with Heart Shaped Pebbles gorgeous Love letters!

Flowers in Abundance
Bring the outside inside! No matter what venue you’re getting married in, we are seeing a huge trend with couples wanting to create that outdoor feeling.
Mix and match, they say variety is the spice of life, and this is particularly true for wedding flowers in 2015. Bride’s bouquets are less of the structured rose type and more a mix of large and small mismatched blooms.
For centre pieces Harriet has used different sizes vases coupled together with freshly grown garden-style flowers, for an interesting and popular alternative to the more traditional centrepiece.

.
Going Green
There is an ever increasing trend to go green and live sustainably; hand made pieces, hessian table runners, and eco friendly products are making their mark on the wedding industry adding a lovely rustic charm. With that in mind, green venues and outdoor wedding places – such as country clubs and golf courses are increasing in their popularity. Green living will play a role in more than just the venue, menus are also including locally farmed selections, a trend most commonly called “farm-to-table dining”
