Who is HWP?
Hayley Wilson is one of Melbourne’s leading photographers specialising in weddings, and baby portraits.
Hayley’s photography is designed to evoke emotion. She is dedicated to creating heartfelt imagery that captures the moment, your moment.
What is the style of HWP photography?
Hayley loves capturing the essence of you, she achieves this by documenting candid interaction, showing real moments and emotions to created artistic and beautiful nostalgic images.
Hayley helps you look your best, guiding you through the day ensuring everything runs smoothly whilst achieving the best photographic results.
Why use HWP to photograph your wedding?
There is a real art and skill in knowing how to capture “the moment”. Anyone can take a photo, but it takes knowledge, training and talent to achieve the ultimate lighting and angles. Hayley uses the highest quality professional cameras, lenses and computer equipment and is accredited by the AIPP.
How many photos do you take?
That will depend on your coverage, but generally between 400-600.
Do you photoshop the photos?
All photos are edited and colour corrected to ensure that exposure and contrast are correct.
Further retouching is done to the photos that are selected for the album for impact and enhancement ie. Skin retouching, colour treatments etc.

Will you hold a date while we decide?
Sorry, HWP is unable to hold dates without a deposit. Services are provided on a first come, first serve basis and we generally have bookings a year in advance.

Absolutely
Have you shot weddings from other ethnic backgrounds?
Yes, Hayley has shot a variety of weddings from different cultures and ethnic backgrounds, ie. English, Scottish, American, Ethiopian, New Zealand, Chinese, Korean, Italian, Greek, Indian, Mongolian.
And hopefully many more as we love experiencing different cultures.
Can we meet with you to discuss our wedding?
Sure, Hayley is based in Melbourne and we conduct meetings during the week.
For interstate and regional clients she is available via Skype or phone if you prefer.
How do we book you?
You simply are required to fill out a booking form and pay a non-refundable deposit of $800 to secure the date.
What is your payment policy?
As mentioned prior a non-refundable booking fee/deposit $800 is required and this will be subtracted from your selected package. Payment can be direct debit, cheque or cash. Balance is required 4 weeks prior to your wedding day.
Do I have copyright for my images?
All wedding packages include high resolution images for printing.
You will have shared copyright with HWP. This means you have the right to reproduce your images in any way you wish, but HWP also has the rights to use the images for promotional material, advertising and displays etc.
How long before I can see the images?
Your password protected client login portal will be live after three business days, plus a few sneak peaks on Facebook.
The actual wedding album production takes approx. 5-8 weeks.
